imaginary mixtape.

I am sad about the demise of Muxtape.

"Muxtape will be unavailable for a brief period while we sort out a problem with the RIAA. "

I have a tendency toward foolish optimism, but I am fairly certain Muxtape will never return.

Now we're all going to have to put our heads together to come up with a new way to easily share music.

In the meantime, I made this imaginary mixtape. The songs are not in the actual, correct order...but you can get the idea. If any of you actually want a copy of this, drop me a line and I will make one for you...after I return from Portland.

"Sea of Love"--Cat Power
"4thTime Around"--Bob Dylan
"Blue Flower"--Mazzy Star
"(Don't Go Back to) Rockville"--R.E.M.
"It's a Hard World Sometimes for Little Things"--Des Ark
"Beginning to See the Light"--The Velvet Underground
"My Sunken Treasure"--The Duke Spirit
"Slow Graffiti"--Belle + Sebastian
"The Start of Something"--Voxtrot
"Blue Ridge Mountains"--Fleet Foxes
"Hard to Swallow"--Pygmy Lush
"100 Years"--Dr. Dog
"Tropical Iceland"--The Fiery Furnaces
And oh, yeah...I'm flying to Portland on Saturday.
